We're trying to make the signup process quicker and easier for people, because we know people are just trying to get stuff done! We're cutting out some of the steps and making it easier for users to get setup for whatever they're on Colladium for.
These changes are scheduled to go live from 5pm on Tuesday the 15th of September 2020.
The setup process will vary slightly, depending on how they're gotten to Colladium. Here's a run down:
If they've been invited to join a community
They'll still get the same email as previously
They'll be asked to join Colladium
They'll be asked to search for their organisation
If they find it, they can request to join it and they'll be taken to the Colladium homepage
Or if they can't find it, they can create their organisation
Then they'll see the invitation to join a community
And they'll be taken to the Colladium homepage
If they've been invited as a user of an organisation
They'll still get the same email as previously
They'll be asked to join Colladium
Then they'll be taken to the homepage, where they'll now be a user of that organisation.
If they join Colladium by their own accord
They'll enter their details and then be asked to confirm their email address
Once they click the link in the email, they'll be asked to search for their organisation
If they find it, they can request to join it and they'll be taken to the Colladium homepage
Or if they can't find it, they can create their organisation
They'll then be able to select why they're here
If they choose they're here for EDI, they'll be able to search for a community they want to join, or choose to create their own
If they choose they're here for Single Touch Payroll (STP), they'll be able to search for a community they want to join, or choose to create their own
If they choose they're here for e-invoicing, they can get setup for e-invoicing
Or if they're on Colladium to look around, they'll just be taken to the homepage.
